I am so excited to be taking this journey with you guys!
I am committed to praying for you daily...and hope this time of commitment brings you so close to Jesus that you won't see anything in your life the same again!
Read more - Psalms, proverbs, Gospels!
Prayer more - spending much time in prayer and adoration...leaving the requests til last!
And look to God to move you - sometimes in a whisper, sometimes in a shout!

I have really been praying about what God wants for me and my family in the coming new year. I have found that I need to fast from watching television and take that time to grow in my spritual walk. I know that this time will be a time of growth and new things and I am excited!

After much prayer and preparation I think I'm finally ready to do this! I'm planning on doing the Daniel Fast for 21 days. I'm going to dedicate my marriage and my first fruits all to Him who deserves all the glory. I am looking forward to 2011 being a totally Spirit-led year!

What does God want from us more than anything? I believe it is a close,intimate and personal relationship. One where we seek to honor and please him with deep reverence and love. To draw close to him and to hear his voice. To act out of love for Him and those created in His image. To become a person after Gods own heart. To be obedient to our calling and to place our Lord and Savior at the absolute top of our world and universe. To reflect his light into dark places for those who have not yet recieved it. For it is not what we can do for the Lord but what He can do through us. All praise and glory to the Lord God most high that we have this oportunity to seek him during this fast!

I am fasting from facebook and other media that I spend to much time focused on. I am praying that God shows me the next step in my relationship with him and what his plans are for my future. I am also praying for deeper relationship with my husband as we grow and change together.
