Lead Pastor Mike & Holly Wehde & Family
Mike was trained at Dallas Theological Seminary. After Seminary he and Holly moved to Middleboro, MA where they started their family and owned and ran a successful business for 18 years. They were leaders in their church and Mike started an extension of National bible College. After 15 years in Middleboro God began to tug at their heart to plant a church. The call was answered after a fire tragically burned the family business to the ground in 2004. God led them to Palm coast Florida. This dream started with a fire, and now God has placed within their hearts a burning vision of impacting this community with the Life-giving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mike & Holly have been married 21 years and are pictured with their children, Chelsie, Dakota, Dillon, Cassidy, and Dawson
Executive Pastor Jeff & Stacy Barksdale & Family
Jeff studied under The National Bible College, and served with his wife Stacy and their five children as lay ministers in Middleboro, MA for almost 20 years. During the last seven years of a 26 year career with the Massachusetts Department of Correction, Jeff was the staff Chaplain at the prison complex where he worked full time as a Lieutenant. He also ministered as an Associate Pastor on staff at Central Baptist Church. Jeff is also a published author. Jeff and Stacy have felt God's call to full-time ministry and responded to that call by taking an early retirement from the Mass. D.O.C. to move to Palm Coast, FL to plant Lifecoast Church. Jeff & Stacy have been married for 24 years, and are pictured with their children, Adam, Alex, Tyler, Sydney, and Madison. |           |
Who Are We?
We are a family that celebrates , serves, grows and multiplies together for the glory of God!
We Celebrate God and his people through our Celebration service on Sunday Mornings. Sunday morning is a celebration of what the church is doing all week long! We serve individually and as a church body in our family, community and world. We grow together through our Growth Groups where we can grow in our relationship with God and each other. And we multiply by inviting others to join us on our walk of celebrating, serving and growing!
A "Life-Giving, Go & Do" Church
We are a life-giving, “go & do” church. We aren't waiting for people to come and see Jesus. We are taking Jesus to the world, by serving them in their needs and "showing" them the love of Christ. We know the world is not going to be coming to us so we are going out to them. This way all people have the opportunity to hear the word of God and come to know Jesus Christ, become a part of a family of believers, and be discipled. Jn. 10:10
Christ-Centered Sound Doctrine
We are a Bible-believing church. We believe God has revealed Himself through the Scriptures, therefore true life is found within them. We are committed to presenting the eternal Word of God fully yet in a culturally relevant way. Isaiah 61:1
Engaging Praise and Worship
When we worship God, we are connecting with the Lord of all creation, so our desire is to give every part of ourselves to Him, holding nothing back. We want to help people become participants in worship and not just spectators.
Relational Growth Groups
You can't know 350 people so we encourage people to get connected on a deeper level through Growth Groups. These groups usually consist of about 12 people meeting once a week to study the Bible. This way you can ask questions and grow in your faith. You can get to know people in a more meaningful way and really learn to be the church to one another. Sharing in the joys and sorrows of one another. Relationships are how the body of Christ is joined together and is how we administer life to one another.. Acts 2:42, 26 1 John 4:19
A Multiplying Ministry
The whole basis of the Christian faith is multiplying. Our goal is to multiply at every level. As individuals, leaders, Growth Groups and churches. This is the Great Commission. Matt 28:19,20 2 Tim. 2:2
Effective Children’s Ministry
Children's ministries is one of our main ministries at Lifecoast. Our children are the church of today! We believe in providing many fun, challenging and faith building opportunities for them to grow in their relationship with Jesus. It is our goal to partner with parents to help them accomplish their goal of raising children that love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength so they can be all God has called them to be and to change the world for Christ!
Healthy Families
We believe in the family. We believe the world is trying to rip families apart and the church needs to be careful not to join them. We strive to help develop and keep healthy families. One way is by keeping generations connected and communicating and learning from one another. We believe in doing as much as we can together so the older can set the example for the younger.
Accepting
None of us came to God in a state of perfection. He loved us first, just the way we were. We want to extend this same love to people who come through our doors. We want everyone to feel accepted and loved, because that's how we came to know God.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this, While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"We love because he first loved us." I John 4:19)
Good Stewards
Everything we have is God's. He is just letting us "borrow" and use it for His glory. We are dedicated to making the best possible use of God's money and resources in all of our departments. In short: We want to be known as the church who "Gives!" If we can give it back to the people, or into the community, we willl do it! ("The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it; the world, and all who live in it." Psalm 24:1)
