The Wehdes
Lead Pastor Michael Wehde was trained at Dallas Theological Seminary before moving to Middleboro, MA to serve with his wife Holly and five children as lay ministers and to own a business. After 15 years, Mike felt the unmistakeable call to plant a church after a fire tragically burned the family business to the ground in 2004.
God then fashioned their journey to the fastest growing county in America (Flagler), where 1000 people per month are moving in from the northern regions. This dream started with a fire, and now God has placed within their hearts a burning vision of impacting an exploding community with the Life-giving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Jeffrey Barksdale studied under The National Bible College, and served with his wife Stacy and their five children as lay ministers in Middleboro, MA for almost 20 years. During the last seven years of a 26 year career with the Massachusetts Department of Correction, Jeff was volunteering as the staff Chaplain at the prison complex where he worked full time as a Lieutenant. He also ministered for a year as an Associate Pastor on the staff of Central Baptist Church. Jeff and Stacy have felt God's call to full-time ministry over the last few years, and have responded to that call by taking an early retirement from the Mass. D.O.C. and have moved to Palm Coast, FL to plant Lifecoast Church. Jeff & Stacy have been happily married since October 24th 1986, and are pictured with their five children; on the left, Sydney and Tyler; on the right Madison, Alex and Adam. |
